Ender 3 V3: Most Common Problems & Fixes
The V3's CR Touch auto bed leveling solves a lot of the older Ender 3's manual-leveling pain, but introduces its own specific quirks.
"Successful" leveling still gives a bad first layer
Auto bed leveling compensates for bed shape, not for a wrong Z-offset. The nozzle can still end up too close (scraping, under-extrusion) or too far (poor adhesion) even after the mesh completes without errors. Fine-tune Z-offset separately, live, during an actual first-layer test print.

A loose ABL sensor mount or sensor voltage drift can throw off readings run to run. Check the sensor is firmly seated, and increase the mesh point count in your slicer for a more detailed compensation map.
Firmware bugs affecting auto-leveling
Some firmware versions have shipped with bugs specifically in the leveling routine. Check Creality's site for the latest firmware for your exact variant — V3, V3 SE, and V3 KE all run separate firmware builds.
Reflective stock bed confusing the sensor
The stock glass bed's reflectivity can occasionally interfere with sensor readings. A textured PEI sheet is a common, inexpensive replacement that also improves adhesion.
